FALL is my favorite season!
Fall brings cool breezes, a falling away of old things, and a refreshing that comes with letting go.
I prophesy that in this season, you will begin to release, and you will see an old skin fall away.
What is no longer for you will become increasingly difficult to carry. What once fit you will begin to feel unfamiliar. And you will come to understand that what is coming off of you is not a curse; it is a blessing making room for what has been buried within you.
There are things inside of you that could not fully emerge while you were still wearing what belonged to another season.
I sense a fresh wind coming with this season.
A wind that will move you toward divine encounters that will birth fresh ideas, fresh clarity, and a fresh desire to serve from the truth of who you are; not from the person you may have spent years trying to become.
There is a difference between becoming who God created you to be and exhausting yourself trying to become who you thought you needed to be.
This season will expose that difference.
Some things will fall away because they have finished their assignment in your life. Some relationships will shift. Some desires will lose their grip. Some expectations you placed upon yourself will no longer carry the same weight. Even certain versions of yourself that helped you survive another season may no longer be necessary for where you are going.
Do not mourn everything that falls.
Pay attention to what becomes lighter when it leaves.
I am believing God with you in this season.
May you fall away from everything you thought you needed and cling to the One who created you, formed you, and graced you to stand in the fullness of who you already are.
And here is my prophetic charge to those who connect with this word:
Do not reach back for what God is allowing to fall from you.
Do not dress yourself again in what has already become too small for your spirit.
Let the old skin come off!
Give yourself permission to discover what has been underneath it.
Pay attention to the fresh ideas.
Pay attention to the new clarity.
Pay attention to the places your spirit is being drawn.
Pay attention to what no longer requires you to perform in order to belong.
There is something buried within you that this season has come to uncover.
Stand still long enough to recognize it.
And when the wind begins to move, do not fight to remain where you have already been.
Let it carry you toward the places, people, assignments, and encounters that have been waiting for the version of you that no longer needs permission to be who God created you to be.
Fall away…
Not from purpose. Not from God, but from everything that has kept you from standing fully in what He placed within you from the beginning.
