Embark on a Transformative Journey

Have you ever felt like your life is stuck between a promise and a breaking point? Like something deep within you knows you were made for more—but the path forward feels clouded by pain, rejection, mistakes, or seasons of waiting?
You’re not alone—and you’re not disqualified.
In every generation, God has called ordinary people into extraordinary purpose. Not because they were perfect—but because they were willing. Willing to rise from where they were and follow the whisper of heaven into a future that only obedience could unlock.
God Doesn’t Call the Qualified—He Qualifies the Called
Let’s look at Saul, later known as Paul. A man who once persecuted the early church with zeal and brutality—but who was radically transformed by an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. (Acts 9)
“But the Lord said to Ananias, ‘Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name…’” – Acts 9:15 (NIV)
Imagine the shame Paul must’ve wrestled with. The regret. The opinions of others who still saw him as a murderer and not a vessel of honor.
But God saw purpose where others saw pain.
God saw destiny where others saw disqualification.
And Paul rose—blind, trembling, and unsure—but obedient.
What excuses are keeping you from rising?
Who are the voices you’re still giving power to—those who only know your past but not your process?
Revelation and Redemption
In John 4, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well. Her history was complicated—five husbands and now living with a man who wasn’t her husband. She came for water, but left transformed. Not by condemnation, but by a divine encounter that revealed her value.
She became the first evangelist in Samaria, telling everyone she could about the Messiah.
“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did…” – John 4:29 (NIV)
One moment of encounter changed everything.
And that’s the power of God’s calling—it does not consult your shame, your scars, or your status. It calls you forward.
So I ask you:
- Have you been hiding in shame or fear of judgment?
- Do you believe your past disqualifies you from purpose?
- Are you thirsty for something deeper?
If so, know this: Jesus is still meeting people at their wells. And He’s still saying, “I see you. I know you. Now rise—there’s a city waiting to hear your story.”
From Denial to Destiny
Peter, the outspoken disciple, walked on water, confessed Christ, and also—denied Him three times. (Luke 22:54–62)
Can you imagine the regret? The grief?
And yet Jesus came back—not to rebuke—but to restore.
“Do you love me?… Feed my sheep.” – John 21:15–17 (NIV)
Jesus didn’t replace Peter—He recommissioned him.
What failure have you allowed to sideline your faith?
What moment made you feel like you blew your chance?
Friend, God hasn’t changed His mind about you. He’s just waiting for your yes.
It’s Time to Rise
God is calling forth sons and daughters who will rise—not because life is easy—but because purpose is worth the pressing.
- You were not created to shrink back.
- You were not called to live bound by the opinions of others.
- You were not saved to simply survive.
You were chosen for such a time as this!
Reflect + Respond
Ask yourself:
- What have I allowed to define me—my past, my pain, or God’s promise?
- Where have I been resisting the call because of fear, failure, or fatigue?
- Who in Scripture do I relate to in this season—Paul, Peter, or the woman at the well?
And now ask:
- What would rising look like for me right now?
- What is God asking me to start, release, or believe again?
Prophetic Charge
You may feel forgotten, but Heaven has not forgotten you.
You may feel overlooked, but you are marked.
You may feel weary, but your strength is being renewed.
I speak to your spirit: Arise. Shake off the ashes of shame.
Step out of the shadow of fear.
Put your hand back to the plow.
The kingdom needs what you carry.
It’s time to rise to your calling—and embark on the transformative journey your soul has longed for.
